Delos

Delos carries the presence of an object shaped by heat and time. The outer surface remains raw, formed from recycled clay with visible tonal variations and enriched with iron oxide pigments. A ceramic shard is attached to the exterior and glazed, creating a sharp material contrast to the unglazed body. The interior is glazed as well, holding light against the dark, textured surface. Texture here is not decorative but inherent — emerging from clay, firing, and material history. Delos reads as something uncovered rather than produced, defined by touch, weight, and the memory held within the material.
