Info

This vessel grows from a series of experiments with irregular, faceted forms. Its surface is built up with layers of white slip and oxide, creating the look of a weathered mineral something shaped slowly by pressure rather than tools. The body breaks away from symmetry, leaning slightly, folding inward and outward like a stone that has been split and worn. Although the form is angular, it feels soft to the touch, carrying the traces of hand-building and the roughness of raw ceramic material.
